While most people visiting Dallas fly in and out of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW), don’t overlook Dallas Love Field Airport when planning your trip.
An excellent, smaller airport located in the heart of Dallas, Love Field is just 20 minutes from Dallas’ Central Business District and seven miles from the Dallas Convention Center, the Dallas West End and the Dallas Market Center.
Three major airlines – Southwest Airlines, Continental Express, and Delta Connections — fly in and out of Dallas Love Field. There are over 100 daily flights to 17 destinations, and 100,974 passengers travel out of Dallas Love Field every week.
Thanks to its central location and low-cost flight service, Dallas Love Field is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to the congested and busy DFW. The professional and courteous federal screeners ensure getting through TSA security checkpoint screening is a breeze. Even during the busiest times, most travelers never wait longer than 10 minutes.
