There are many things to do when you are in Dallas Texas; one of them is Dallas shopping. There are two major malls here, as well as many different specialty retailers in and around the area. There are also major attractions that are a must see when before or after your day of shopping.
While you are here, if you want to find some spectacular malls, there are two to choose from, the North Park Center, as well as the Dallas Galleria Mall. Both have their own unique stores, dining experiences, and these two malls have some of the best shopping in the country. If you want to find just about anything, you will find it here.
The Northpark Center Dallas Is a Dallas shopping mall that is located at 8687 N. Central Expressway, and is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas, yes it is even open on New Years. Store hours are; Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm and on Sunday from noon till six pm. They currently have seven different restaurants, including a TGI Friday’s, and Maggiano’s Little Italy.
For large department stores you will find Macy’s, Dillard’s, Norstrom, and even a Neiman Marcus. They also have a variety of popular retail clothing outlets, such as the Gap, Guess and Eddie Bauer.
In addition, this Dallas shopping mall also has it’s own indoor park, a spa, and a movie complex. They offer valet parking, concierge services, and a variety of different ATM locations. There isn’t much that they don’t offer for not only shopping, but also for entertainment as well. There are exciting shopping adventures for the whole family!
Next up on the list of Dallas shopping is of course the Galleria Dallas. This exquisite shopping mall not only features many elegant shops, it also features their legendary Galleria Ice Rink, and play area, open during the holiday Monday through Wednesday, with two different sessions, 10am-5:30, and 8-10pm.
The media even boasts that this is the best place to shop in all of Dallas. Located on the Dallas Parkway, they too have a Nordstrom, but it is here there is a Macy’s as well as a real Saks Fifth Avenue. There is also an American Eagle Outfitter, as well as many other specialty stores, all which appeal to the consumer’s needs. Be sure to also check out the Westin Hotel Galleria and The Oceanaire.
The Dallas Galleria Mall has a full food court, with all your favorites like Taco Bell, Subway, McDonalds, and even a Starbucks. For finer dining experiences, there is the little Katana Sushi Bar, Grill on the Alley and Sonny Bryans BBQ.
There are many other Dallas shopping malls to choose from, it really depends on what you are looking for. If you want another place where you can stay at a hotel and have all sorts of different shopping and dining experiences in one location, then a trip to the Plaza of the Americas is a place to stay and shop.
With the combination of excellent architecture and scenery, this is an extremely popular attraction for tourists in the area. There are white marble floors, and crown molding decorate all the interior walls.
There are over forty different restaurants, and even America’s Ice Garden, another spectacular skating rink surrounded by flowers and palm trees. It offers classes in both the Spring and Winter. The Westin City Center is the hotel here, and with it’s popularity, you need to book your reservations well in advance.
